FOXCONN launches the second motherboard in its GREEN Series - the Micro-ATX G45MG based on the Intel G45 chipset.

The G45MG includes the integrated Intel X4500HD graphics core and support for the Intel Core 2 processors up to 95W power rating and up to 1600(OC)/1333MHz FSB. Dual Channel DDR3 1333MHz memory is also supported.

The G45MG includes 3G technologies which are designed to reduce power consumption, typically by around 68%. 3G comprise of GPS (Green Power Saving), GoD (Green on Demand) and GSM (Green System Mode) significantly lowering total cost of ownership without affecting system performance.

GPS reduces power consumption in standby mode. GoD technology reduces the number of power phases in operation during low-loading periods, and increasing the number of phases when the computer is under heavy loading. Finally GSM combines a number of BIOS and system settings to further enhance energy efficiency.

G45MG also use 100% SOLID Capacitor design to improve component reliability. Other features include integrated 7.1 channel HD audio, six SATAII connectors, IEEE1394a (FireWire), twelve USB ports, a HDMI, a PCI-E x16 slot, two PCI-E x1 slots and a PCI slot.
